The instrument has an imager that enables co-registration of the sounding points with the images acquired by the multispectral imager on the platform.

This imager is based on micro-bolometer detectors, like IASI. It is composed of a dioptric optical head and a offset electronics.

The imager also has a calibration black body used to equalize and calibrate.
